preda 2009

Preda and its companion Bravuogn are a pair of furniture I designed for our newly transformed mudroom into a sunroom. Preda is a shoe rack with a high perching box with two drawers, one for her, one for him.

I used Mendocino cypress for the structure and the shelves. The box is made from Spectratech™, a man-made sheet good, that is colored all the way through.

I like the juxtaposition between the rough-sawn cypress and the slick and square looking box.
