Pura Curiosità!

Information

2007

I built this’ cabinet on a stand’ for the 25th anniversary show of the Fine Woodworking Program of the College of the Redwoods.

The illuminated cube defines a visible volume floating on eye level. A slender black steel frame delineates the physical perimeter. Frameless glass doors on all four sides allow an unobstructed view of the display.

My grandfather made the little wooden houses for me to play with when I was a child. He encouraged me early on to be curious. Hence the title: pura curiosità!
